About Element 牛津大学
Element 牛津大学, previously known as Culham Lightning Studies Unit (CLSU), was originally established in 1972 和 acquired by Element in 2018.
Located in Abingdon, UK, the test facility provides comprehensive lightning testing services 和 consultancy to the aerospace 和 国防 im体育平台app下载. It’s the only commercial laboratory in the country with the capability to test aerostructures for the effects of direct lightning strikes (DO160/ED14 Section 23 testing).

The fully equipped lighting simulation laboratory also specializes in testing for indirect effects on electrical equipment 和 systems, 和 high voltage testing of antennas 和 windscreens of up to 500kV.
The team of highly specialized experts provides consultancy on all stages of aircraft lightning protection design 和 certification, through review, testing, 和 analysis.
The services offered at our 牛津大学 facility complement extensive DO160 testing at our offices in 沃里克 和 Minneapolis in the US.
